Art enables matter to become expressive, to not just satisfy but to intensify–to resonate and become more than itself. This is not to say art is without conception; simply that concepts are by-products or effects rather than the very material of art…

Art hijacks survival impulse and transforms them though the vagaries and intensifications posed by sexuality, deranging them into a new order, a new practices.
