yes. but you are not alone. even i question what andy is questioning and what the two crit vids show. it is the dilemma of the art world and it has been for sometime.
i didn't even know about the movie and will need to watch it as well. i simply googled crit art performance video and as hannah would say, "POP POP"

I am on the exact same page as this Jerome kid! Sometimes it's like, "Wha–?! Really?"
And I'll agree with Mr. Rooney on one point; artists should earn the right to do crazy stuff. If you can do the traditional, basic things in art, then you're welcome to go off and break all the rules. But only AFTER you've learned said rules. Makes sense to me. :
